Don’t mean to steal anyone’s thunder or anything but just saw this on Instagram...
Sure someone will be along shortly to tell us that we wouldn’t be allowed to fit it here in the UK...? Click image to enlarge Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

So I guess, in summary, we need confirmation whether or not it’s e marked. One would guess not given LR had no intention of selling it over here... Cheers, David

It was interesting to see PowerfulUK’s latest video on fitting the winch. It still makes use of all the crumple zones etc & is designed to ‘give’ a fair bit in the event of a collision. Wonder if the bullbar is similar, though presumably it has to have a baseline level of strength to actually do its job. Cheers, David

The LR bar does not provide much in terms of protection against a large roo, feral camel etc that we get in Australia, to many gaps. Much of the discussion i have been privy to on the FB owner groups, especially in Australia is to wait and see what ARB, OL or TJM bring to the market. I had an email from OL the other day informing me they are looking to start work in the early new year on scanning the vehicle, so fingers crossed they a) come up with something more suitable for a Front Impact Protection System that meets the needs of the market, b) it will be far more cost effective than LR's current offering. yet another pommie bar steward down under MY20 110 P400 SE Defender MY10 3.0 RR Sport |

I see that AStPW is getting some flack from other makers of aftermarket off-road kit than ARB on Instagram at the moment - manufacturers who do have gear ready for new Defender. Indeed!
Used to quite enjoy his videos, and still do to some extent, but he hasn’t half become cynical! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

I’ve enjoyed his channel for years but some of his opinions are getting unnecessarily extreme and often ill thought out. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

He’s rather got egg on his face after whinging about it being impossible to fit a winch, and then PowerfulUK make a simple DIY guide a couple of days later! Cheers, David

Also he forgets to mention LR cornered the accessory market at Launch with so many available from them... so making it harder for AM to catch up.
Plus vehicles have only been out there 6 months... how many AM accessories are there out there for other 4X4 after 6 months.. Mats and the like are easy... but anything that connects to the electrical system or chassis - needs a bit more work and time. When the other models came out.. how many AM accessories are immediately available. At least his last review... he was not 100% negative.. |

I bet if LR Australia loaned him one for 6 months to test out on the sort of drives he wants drive he wouldn’t refuse it, even after what he has said. 6 months should give him long enough to teach his mate Ronny D how to use terrain response before
