Of course. All the alloys look horrible.

That's my thought - the alloys don't "fit" with the Defender ethos. But of course, that's only my opinion.
I see you didn't go as far as the white roof. |

I would very much liked to have done, but it was far too expensive for what it was. The money was better spent on the locking diff.

Can always get it done later at a body shop for circa 300 notes.

The standard diameter tyres are bigger than even the D3/D4/D5 which means you can get away with 19's and 20's with good enough tyrewall rubber and they still work. IMHO 22's and beyond look STUPID on this vehicle Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Mine's specced with the white steel wheels and the white roof -- though I can't disagree at the fact that it's stupid pricey. I just couldn't help myself; when I saw one in my head it had those things and I was /done/.
The bank manager can chase me while I giggle madly and dodge those blokes in the white coats. D110 P300 (now here) -- Pangea Green / white roof / white steelies / Off-road pack / towing pack / cold-weather pack / heated seats and assorted fun odds and sods |

Full on classic look for me, anything else wasn’t an option, white roof is pricey but I wanted it all factory, it’s certainly getting noticed, had a few thumbs up from passers by.

A lot of us got the bigger engines like the P400 and the steelies don’t fit unless you change the rear brake calipers and remove the front balancer. Love the white steelies and would have got them if they came in 19’s or 20’s. I did powder coat my alloys white just because.

I mean, maybe for a second set, but to me the steel wheels look cheap and out of place on any of the trucks especially the trucks with metallic paint.

They all have metallic paint save for the white, which is another issue. If they’d done a proper set of base colours with a white roof then that would have been perfect.
J77’s is the best looking one I’ve seen. |

Tasman is metallic, but looks like a solid body colour under certain light. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
