Trailer Electric Brake Controller mounting - FYI
Installed a Redarc TowPro today. For those of you in the US and Aus may be useful details.
Note the preinstalled wiring harness on the Defender may only be there in Australia.

The landrover uses a Ford plug (still to this day) and is located above and to the right of the accelerator pedal (for RHD).

Need to remove the hood latch panel cover by the accelerator pedal. Pull straight back after "unpopping" the trim piece that says defender (the sill plate)

The Tekonsha 3035-P wiring harness fits plug and play. Patched into the Redarc and then installed the knob under the lighting control. You don't need to try and remove that blank like I did, just pop out the whole little box thing. Super easy.

Towing controller tucks in on the right side close to the plug.

The harness connection is there on US models as well, but is at the top of the brake pedal arm, not the accelerator. You just need to unbolt the very bottom trim panel to get access. Requires the 006 harness from redarc.
