Thule roof bar question
Hi all

Trying to find some roof bars for the wife’s new 110 (2020)
I have some Thule bars from the Disco 4 that appear to work on the same principal of slotting into the existing T-Bar system in the factory roof rails. However the brackets are a tad small.
Does anyone have the part number for the correct Thule fitting kit ?
They must be the type that fit the factory for roof rails !

Thank you

Nevermind, sometimes you just not see the forest for the trees.
Take it easy.

For myself, still haven‘t decided wether to reuse my Thule bars or to go for a roof rack.

Actually , just taken a look using the desktop computer !
Looked at the recommended foot fitting kit and it doesn’t appear to utilise the channels on the roof rails unless I’m being utterly stupid.
I need some for Thursday so can’t risk the chance of buying something and having to send it back .
🙄 may just HAVE to go for the full front runner rack ! https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

Where elso should it be fitted if not with the roof rails?

Have you read the intructions on the fit kit?

Talking about roof racks.

My favorite would be the Eezi Awn K9 rack rather than the front runner rack, as it is using the OEM rails AND is 1800mm long (1560mm for Front Runner).

Bluericky,

Just ordered some myself, you need 3040 Rapid System 'Fixpoint' Adaptor kit and 753 Rapid System Foot kit, not sure the part number for the rails as I'm re-using the ones from my Disco 5. D240 110 First Edition

That's exactly what I said, the Front Runner rack for the rails is 1560mm long (only).

No trees. No forest.

There is another option on roof racks that seem quite interesting:
https://www.tbruk.com/pioneer-platform-defender110-8398-p.asp

It’s 2128 X 1236MM

And Foot Height is only 37mm

The reason it’s hard to find is that Thule US and many other countries do not show a fitting for the new Defender. For some reason, South Africa and UK sites show the kit. I’ve posted this more than a few times so maybe search, but since you’re all here: 753 or 753100 feet, 3040 fit kit, 127 cm evo bars. Do yourself a favor and get the evo’s not the previous wing bars etc. You’ll thank me when you realize you can mount accessories in the evo t-slot without cutting the rubber thing every time. And yes, the 3040 fits right in the roof rail slot. Just make sure you slide it away from the openings.
