30mm wider arches
So thought it was better to cover the et0 wheels a little better and brought the 30mm extended arches.

Rear ones direct off with the old and on with the new.

Front ones have to be cut, again not an issue.

Where I have the problem is the front figment. Basically now it’s double thickness of plastic so then little plastic clips feel like they don’t go in far enough, and you can not push the center pin in. Managed to snap one center pin when pushing it in.

Have I done something wrong, or do I need longer clips?

I have the cut inner piece on top of the new outer wing, if I tried it reversed it was worse.

Any ideas guys? Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details

I have just done mine last week. The double layer does make it harder but they do go, I did mine the same way as you with the inner section on top of the new outer.

If the pin doesn't go in try substituting the small pin for a stainless steel screw. This works particularly well if the hole has been enlarged over time.

Thanks Simon,

The actual clips are going it it’s like they are not long enough and the pins not entering.

I’ll give them another go later on, it’s like they went in 2-3mm but they should go in about 10mm really. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
