Just an inter-cultural "fun fact" you may already know: this is a cool reg, as is the concept of a reg to belong to a car until it's scrapped. Where else could a number plate belong to, you ask? Well, over here in Germany (and many/most? other countries) a new reg is issued each time the owner changes. Getting the letters + numbers you want costs around a mere 15€.
But the number of cool combinations is limited. Partly because the first letters are an abbreviation of the city or county the owner lives in, such as B for Berlin, M für Munich and TBB for Tauberbischofsheim So there could be a "B LR 110" in Berlin and an "M LR 110" in Munich. DEF isn't possible, as only one or two letters are possible. Also no leading zeros. If you lived in Düsseldorf you could get "D EF 7" Or in Dessau "DE F 7", yes, well... |
