It is true though for car-derived-vans such as the defender. Only physical differnece is the windows. I allways carry seats in the load area of mine as well and for health and safety reasons they are bolted down to stop them moving Thumbs Up

The Revenue fat lady is only singing the 7 seater song,

5 seats with the new engine will be 13.5% vrt as a N1 class, prices are going up around 3.5k because of the new engine
and diesel filter !

(until they change their mind again again)

Better grab the last of the 2.4, seven seaters still at the dealers, anyone who is interested. 3.5K increaes seems a little steep but if you can still get the N1 classification with resulting private tax it is still better than the old situation.Keep the info trickling this way.... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
