Thanks for all the replies guys- to make the situation even worse whilst replacing the top right panhardrod bolt the cut end has dislodged something on the coolant system (I think) when I was knocking the old cut end through.

This photo is taken from underneath behind the radiator where the end of the top panhardrod bolt comes through.

When I squeeze the large coolant pipe coolant flows out of the part in yellow.

My question is - it looks as though I have knocked off a pipe connection or cap that sits over the part in yellow- what normally would be connected to the front right side (TD5 defender)

Once again thanks in advance!
(This may be the last thing I try to do to my defender at this rate!

Today I was killing time on youtube and saw a video titled "I made a mess of my Defender". I took the bait and gave it a watch, all the while thinking I'm absolutely certain I saw someone on d2.net have this exact problem! Had to come and have a look to make sure I wasn't going mad!

Some decent videos on your channel Marcus. Especially liked watching the couple you've done on soundproofing because I am currently about to do that job on my 110.

Had the same thought I had seen somebody cut the same bolts then have to change a pipe/rad. You can not hide now you are famous Marcus Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details
