I used waterless wash on luxury private jets, always looks great and easy to use, but who can tell at 38000 feet....
![]() As we say in aviation valeting “Rise & Shine” My 90 has had a ceramic coating, washing is now dead easy with Demon Wash and a good microfibre towel dry.... Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT Last edited by Leamreject on 16th Mar 2021 8:50am. Edited 3 times in total |

Ok, this is new on me. If not using water... what do you use? And if no water how does it work with no scratching?

Efficient.
The G4 has only had one wash this year (and is being used to commute 4 days a week) it needs a polish and wax, but I expect it will be fairy liquid and a yard brush |

I use this waterless wash, seems to work nice and with extra Carnauba Wax leaves a nice finish I think Ideal World TV sell it.... ![]() Click image to enlarge Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

Your not far wrong there i use Muc Off bike cleaner for the two wheeled fleet here. If you put in to a Karcher lance bottle it is better on the car than the Turtle Wax Snow Foam i used to use as it is thicker and stays on the car longer... Also, Auto Glym Wheel and Tyre cleaner looks to be exactly the same stuff. Hence i only buy the large containers of Muc Off and transfer to a smaller spray bottle or the afore mentioned Karcher lance bottle. Its all about the marketing...... ![]() |

/\ thanks Mark although I'm not sure we're on the same wave length.
the stuff I'm referring to is the 'waterless' stuff and not wash n wax stuff. the waterless stuff 'appears' to be magic - spray on wipe off and bingo - cleaned and polished all in the wipe of a cloth. hmm. also varying prices - car plan No 1 £12/600ml. through to over double for what appears to be the same stuff by brands I've never heard of? |

Hi Caterham, the Rokit Williams Racing endorsed waterless wash I posted earlier is very good and reasonably priced, I think I got 4 1ltr bottles for circa £25 off one of the TV shopping channels.
Easy to use, simply spray on and wipe off with microfibres and it leaves a fresh waxed touch to the paintwork.... I should be on commission... ![]() If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

Sorry LEAMREJECT.
I somehow skipped over your post - yes thats the stuff and reasonably priced - not sure how / why other venders are selling what appears to be the same stuff for circa 8x the price? .... are you on commission? ![]() |

I used Bilt Hamber stuff on my Fl2, I forget what it’s called, during the summer months, cleans the dry dust of easily without marks.
