Defender 110 County < utility conversion
Guys,

I'm looking to convert my 2014 110 station wagon into a 5 door utility.

Does anyone have some rear van panels there looking to sell or swap for a set of window panels?
or if anyone an point me in the direction of someone who does that would be great.

all the best,

Charlie.

Would it not be easier to just the rear windows blacked out?

Genuine 110 USW rear side panels are very hard to come by, as a result many people use Series 3, 2A or 2 88" hardtop sides which fit but are subtly different in construction, but are much easier to find.

You could also swap the windows out for Gullwing panels? Probably as cheap as buying new side panels

Does this conversion make any difference to the tax of the truck?

Station Wagon and Utility are both N1 for later vehicles anyway so wouldn't affect the road tax.

If you're trying to argue it becomes a van for company car tax purposes that's a different ballgame...

You can just bond a sheet of aluminium over side and loose it at the ends when painted. This also saves taking the vehicle apart. Gullwings are also an essay option but don’t give the look, and the ones I played with appeared to be far from secure

So I did it properly
