Help Installing a Webasto heater

Installing a Webasto Evo heater into a 2.2 Puma. I would appreciate some advise on where to locate the heater unit. I have space on the inside of the RH chassis rail over the frt axle where a RHD steering box would locate, but its a little too exposed. Most of the roads here are dirt and I think it will take a beating from all the mud and snow..

Also, looking for advice on where to splice into the engine heater hoses. Thanks, hope everyone is wintering well.
