Was a guide there, based out of Tau Lodge, in the mid 90's, when there with only 3 lodges and you could spend the entire day out without seeing another vehicle.

Yes, the ellies are fine. Although a ranger was killed by one of them a few years ago, it was very brutal (we got the first-hand account from a witness).--
