I thought this was a really marginal thing and you could simply take a file to the corners of the rear calipers to 'make them work' with 18's

the Yorkshire gent in Canada on a FB post (shedlock2000 on youtube) suggested these are ice scrappers built into the
inside caliper, prevents build up of ice and slush, not sure if he was pulling our legs

D5 rear calipers i was informed, should have the same stopping power as the P400 brakes, just a different shape,
uses the same brake pads even.. i am just not comfortable with fettling with the brakes to be honest. yet another pommie bar steward down under
