Profiles Gone
Anyone else had the issue that their profiles have gone. We had two previously setup for me and my wife to change with each set of keys. Went to the car today and it now has no profiles.

Did they come back or did you have to type them all in and do settings again?

I haven’t bothered to put them back in. We have very similar tastes and settings so I will leave it as it is I think. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

It’s happened to me 4 times in the last month. My guess is that it’s related to when I use the app on my phone but that’s just a guess. I’m getting rather annoyed by it though, especially loosing Spotify.

Check your software update number - 2.09 was released yesterday, that might have caused profile losses Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Yes so annoying, it’s lost the profiles again on monday when it did an update.

It wouldn’t be so bad if you could just sign into the incontrol account and it remembers it all, but no you have to type both the names in and both logins/passwords, associate keys and phones again etc.

I’ve just been sat outside in the car trying to work out these profiles. Something doesn’t seem right.

From the on screen info as you setup profiles, it appears that you can setup the car to recognise who is using it, by the phone pairing.

However, it seems to only be able to recognise who has just got in the car by either the key they used to unlock it, or which icon they pressed on the pivi pro. The phone recognition seems to not work.

Anyone else tried this?

It’s now decided to update itself, so I’ll let you know if it forgets all the profiles again!! 😂 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Release notes for profile gone issue
If you read the release notes it says that the profiles are disabled and the issue will be resolved witht he subsequent update which is due in a few weeks. I got the same issue, and I was unable to create a profile and my profiles were also deleted. This was with 2.1.0e. So just have to sit tight I guess.

Profiles not enabled after 2.1.0
I am still unable to create my profile after the software updates to 2.1.0. The release notes suggests we create our profiles but it doesn’t work. I tried a restart, turned on wi-fi the usual stuff. Let me see if it turns itself back on like so many things else have to wait for the next update.
