Defender 1993 Front Door Hinge Screws
Hi, I am wanting to fit some replacement Wing Mirrors to my Defender, it has large headed Phillips Screw Heads.

Does anyone know what size screwdriver I will need to use so that it will be the correct size/fit please?

Thanks.

If the hinge screw heads aren't Torx then they're more likely to be PZ4 rather than Phillips.

Indeed, they are Pozi screws, PZ4 (we are talking about the screws that fasten the hinge to the bulkhead and the doors.
The screws that fasten the wing mirror are smaller, I think PZ2 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Thanks to you both.

Definitely not Torx, I will look into getting PZ4 & PZ2.

I will measure beforehand.

All the best

Btw, to access the screws for the mirrors, you only need to undo the door side bolts.
The nuts are not captive. But you may be able to keep them from rotating bu using a 13mm open ended spanner to save you removing the door card. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
