First AZ jab yesterday, no issues so far, didn’t even feel the needle go in, 1st class jabber.
I had a tandem jab what the Mrs. (Before the comments come in, we were not sat on a bicycle made for 2) It was a sequential jabbing. Got my first AZ jab last week, & like Ryderoo I didn't feel the needle going in either.

Thought I'd check in on this again...
According to the latest data there is still between 13,011,217 and 20,662,115 people in front of me in the queue for a first dose of COVID vaccine across the UK. Given a vaccination rate of 2,370,367 a week and an uptake of 100%, I should expect to receive my first dose of vaccine between 08/07/2021 and 29/08/2021. I should then get my second dose by between 30/09/2021 and 21/11/2021. Guess I won't be going to Europe anytime this year then despite how good a job the Government and vaccinators are doing 
Still, can't complain, there's plenty individuals and groups out there in need of it more than me - I'm more than happy to wait. Stuart

With my job, I have been lucky enough to be top of the queue and have had both of mine (Pfizer) - the wife’s second dose is on Wednesday (she’s front line too) and our parents are done (in their 80’s).
Interestingly, my stepson has also had his first dose and he’s 25 (AZ) - he’s asthmatic but fit as a flea otherwise. My daughter hasn’t, and she’s the same age and spent some of her Christmas break doing COVID tests on the Sheffield student population (talk about exposure risk!). I get the impression it’s a bit of a lottery still. Some GP practices/authorities/commissioners are hotter than others at sorting out the allocations. |
