Very nice, as a ballpark figure roughly how much is that costing? Your spec seems ideal so was interested if you don't mind sharing? 1984 One-Ten CSW 2010 XS USW (sold) 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |

Well you can spec it up in the configurator so I’m not sharing anything secret when I say it comes in just shy of £52k.
I was able to negotiate a 4% discount on that, plus a decent part-ex valuation which brings it nearer to 5% in real terms, so sub £50k in the end. To be honest, I needed to meet a price point, so I’ve tried endless combinations and specs (bigger engines and specs with fewer options, and vice versa) but this one works for me. I was a bit worried as I’ve not seen much online about the base model or the D200 and all the demonstrators are D240s. The update to 6 cylinder MHEV plus this guy’s videos kind of convinced me in the end... I was tempted at one point to go super basic but I felt like I wouldn’t get on with the base audio (hence the comfort pack), and I needed the cold climate pack to avoid the plastic steering wheel. |

You’ll be very happy. Mine is a base spec D200 as well and it has more than enough power and torque. Tows like a dream.
All I optioned was the colour, the off road tyres, towbar, the locking diff, a centre console and the digital dash. I’ve been driving a 1992 Defender 90 for the last 12 years so the base spec is super-luxurious to me, as such there was no need to spec any more toys. Spending any more you don’t really get value for money (in as much as you ever can buying a Land Rover) and there’s just more to go wrong. |

The base model has everything you need, all the stuff it doesn’t have you don’t need. I wanted the base 90 but for 21MY but LR chose not to offer it with the Diesel engine. Was available for 20MY but they don’t exist as LR delayed the 90. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
