Sounds like an interesting build.
The gap between the Recaro seat runner and the cubby box on mine is 6cm. I guess all Defenders are not necessarily the same. Mine is a 2014 puma. Maybe the pic helps: Click image to enlarge Chris |

Hi Mata,
No problem. Wow, your interior looks stunning. Love that wooden floor. Measuring between the two seat backs at the top of the cubby box is 37cm. Measuring between the seat base just above my cup holders (like in my pic) is 36cm. Hope this helps. Cheers Chris |

Ha, that’s not my interior, just a grab off the Internet, mines more an explosion of wiring for the gearbox controller! And gear changer currently!
