MAC tool box/chests
I'm looking for a large tool chest. I've seen a couple of 50" Mac ones that look good second hand and Mac boxes seem to have a good reputation.

Does anyone know the retail price of these?

Unfortunately MAC do not sell online like Snap On so you would have to call a dealer.

What can be guaranteed is that the retail price will be greatly higher than anyone actually pays, When I purchased my toolbox it had £3,000 knocked off! I’m sure they dream the retail prices up!

If you have or know someone with a Costco card their own Brand Kirkland ones are nearly as good and about 1/4 of the price of anything from Mac or Snapon.

Halfords advanced are really quite good. Look out for their discounts and they are a bargain for the quality.

May I suggest you write your advert on a card, something like "Man looking for Mac with 50" chest so I can open drawers and slip tool in". Perhaps put it in a telephone box with your number on.

I have snap-on for work but at home the Costco one is superb and great value for money. Their latest version of this is even better. Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

I've got one of these and have to agree. I'm having to reconfigure garage so all tools below workbench, hence bigger box required.
