Hi guys,
I'll post this as a 'wanted' just in case anyone has one - I'd be interested in any of the 'rectangular' pop up models (as opposed to the 'wedge' shaped ones). Ideally the Evasion Evolution. Happy to travel, Covid excepted, etc etc However the question is more like: 'does anyone know where there might be any UK stock'? As far as I know Devon 4x4, TuffTrek and latterly LVB Overland used to be agents. There seems to be some problem with a wholesaler meaning it's difficult to stock a wide range of brands - they want retailers to only offer a selected number, or to bring in a container load at a time. I've emailed Baroud themselves but no reply yet. There was one on sale here a few months ago but nothing came of that - or at least, if it did, it didn't seem to conclude via the forum. I know there's a supplier in the Netherlands. I've been in touch with them and they're pretty helpful.... but the HMRC seem pretty clueless on the process for personal imports. Maybe next year once all the brexit stuff has calmed down and sorted itself out. (not to mention Covid..) But anyway - just in case anyone has one and was thinking of selling; or knows someone who might have a 'new old stock' one lying in a corner somewhere? I know other tents are available etc etc but I have looked at this and am pretty set on the Baroud range. Thanks as always. Thanks for that - definitely interested. I was looking for standard size rather than XL just because the standard doesn't overhang the roof - but definitely interested. You might have my details from the rear diff guard, but I'll PM anyway. Ta.
