Since we lost Tigger last year me and my mam have been doing some research for a replacing cat. My mam said when Tigger goes, she will get a Maine Coon cat, So after a few months of research, and talk. we did see some right bonny ones mind, We decided not to get another ginger cat, it wont feel right at all, plus my ginger jokes stay with Tigger.
We decided on getting a black Maine Coon. At the beginning of December, i put down a deposit and today my parents picked him up. Here is Zeus  He has already had nibble on my fingers  hissed and jabbed at jasper,  but the two have been around each other, just jasper wanting to play with him really. But the two have settled now

He is starting to settle in now, getting more confident about exploring the house hold, and starting to be a little chatty too. All you see is a pair of yellow/ green eyes looking at you, with his features been that dark.

just over a year now since we got zeus, i thought id update on how he is getting on, He was modified last Wednesday. So he is a little lighter on the rear end
Anyway with in the 12months, we have gone from this Click image to enlarge to this with in a matter of months Click image to enlarge he pulls some right faces at you

Very, very laid back. Hardly purrs and is just say coming to sit beside us now. He often spends his time up in his little tree thing, or under the parents bed. When i am up in the loft room, he does come up and has a bit of a walk around, and a mew at me. I have just say got him to sit with me on my bed. Not really vocal at all, unless he wants to be out in the living room on the night, that's about it. Me little Gingers ( Tigger was very vocal and purred constantly. Zeus is longer than the standard cat now, and he is still a kitten! This is him on my knee, and he cannot get fully

He’s a big lad :wink lovely looking cat
I’m biased to black cats 🐈⬛
I never really liked cats and always preferred dogs despite having both growing up. I was going to get a English bull terrier for in the yard and after going to see a lovely big lad at around 3 years old I decided I haven’t the time to look after a energetic terrier and it would be too much to ask my dad to maintain walkies etc whilst I’m at work. As a compromise to keep my dad company we got given a little all black kitten, rejected from his mother at 5 weeks from a local farm. He’s brilliant not a particular loving/purring cat but is great company, bright as a button looking after himself goes outside when he wants and sleeps on his chair the rest of the time  with plenty of eating in between.
Now coming up 4 years he’s not a big cat but rather rotund
