England 2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
Rebuild, should i have it chipped/tuned?
Just spent £5500 un complete engine rebuild/ new clutch, chain belts etc after oil pump stopped picking up and did the big ends, thinking of having it tuned y one of the gents on here, i know they can do this remotely, but i have no idea of how to do this and feel its above my head, help please, is it worth getting done i have an 09 2,4 tdci 90

I’d avoid any kind of chipping or boost boxes.
I’ve had an Alive tune on mine for years with no problems at all and always run millers diesel additive permanently too.
BAS is also highly praised, both are market leaders and most reliable.

Had the BAS 150 tune earlier this year - great improvement in drivability and pick-up. 100% recommendation. Rgds.

I would run it for a bit first just to make sure all is well and happy before putting everything under a greater load. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
