Today’s misadventure- need a part number 😩
In the midst of the relatively straightforward Whistle task of fitting X-Trouser door strikers I may have managed to lose one of the bolt brackets within the depths of the door pillar Embarassed Yes I thought they were captive nuts in there. I was swiftly disavowed of that notion on the driver’s side, but that time the bracket fell only a few inches and was easy to retrieve. On the passenger side the bloody thing slipped right through my fingers and slid delicately down the gap where the electrics run. 😫😫😫 What a numpty😩😩😩

So anyway I’ve found a few different options and would appreciate if anyone could guide me to the correct part for a 2013 Puma that would be great....There’s only so long I can go with a ratchet strap keeping my passenger door shut!

I did the same recently but could retrieve it

Could you just put a nut and washer onto the end of the bolts in the short term.

Hi Mark, Glad it’s not just me then! My Mate is bringing a thin telescopic magnet round tomorrow but it’s way down in the guts so I’m not hopeful. I suppose a couple of nylocks on the back would do in the meantime. It was getting dark when it happens today and I was sick fed up so I strapped it shut and went for my tea... Thumbs Up
