Noticed a RR Velar appear parked on the road just up from ours yesterday afternoon. Was still there this morning and I noticed the door handles were all in the extended position which i assumed meant it was unlocked.
No sign of anyone going to/from it all day so ran the reg online (private reg) and it was showing with a Stolen Marker. Reg seemed to correspond to the right colour and model and showed as 11months old. Rang 101 and reported, they confirmed it as a stolen vehicle and recovery truck came and collected it within about 45mins! Hopefully someone will get their cherished car and reg back! As the case will be heard at a Magistrates court it will be at least two Magistrates . Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

I don't know why but I'm an avid viewer of Police Interceptors - it makes my blood boil when I see all those scroats put innocent peoples lives at risk and get away scott free.
I just hope the magistrates use some common sense when your case comes to court. Good luck Greeni Defender 90XS SW Mini Countryman Cooper S Morgan Plus 8 |

Today I had a letter from the Police Safer Roads Partnership, who deal with prosecutions....
I sent them photos of the day’s recoveries, photos of donation confirmations for the MS society and a letter from an NHS worker who couldn’t make it to work due to the snow and ice, who I taxi’d to and from the Hospital for a week. Click image to enlarge Anywho, the letter from the Police went along the lines of ‘No further action...’. and ‘thank you for your help and support to other road users’. A warm and fuzzy feeling. |
