I don't think anything will burn off. You'll need to clean it or, at worst, replace it and see if that makes a difference. Darren

As above, clean it for now then look to replace it. They aren’t all the expensive. If you use the search function on here you’ll find more info. (Especially for a 2.4). Chillin In The Backwoods🇬🇧🇺🇸

oh the reason for taking map out was for replacement....thats when i noticed. changed turbo actuator thingy and map as over pressure fault on engine when occasionally when lifting off throttle on motorway it would go into limpish mode reduced power.....everything else checked out ok series 2a 1966
