limescale in the radiator
My dad has a car at his holiday home in austria( its not a land rover but an american version); its been there for around 23 years and isn't used much.. in fact for a 1989 vehicle it looks brand new! However... the coolant will be the original and looking through the rad cap its got a lime scale problem. It doesn't overheat i just want to clean it out.

I see some rad flushes say they remove loose deposits of the stuff... but which of them is any good??
or should i go to a plumbing shop and get some central heating cleaning stuff? 1953 80"

I would stick to the ones for cars. Heatings system one may be a bit powerful. Good luck
