Bigger is better. The D200 and D250 are probably easily boosted to D300 +++ BHP if required too. I think the 6cyl is the diesel the new 663 needed from launch. It was the one I was holding out for. 1951 80" S1 2.0

My pre-buy test drive was a 4 cylinder D200 and it almost put me off buying one as I personally found it underpowered for my requirements. For many who dont need the ability to cross continents or haul big heavy trailers but only want a mall cruiser or school run bus then it’s fine, after all all the Series, 90/110’s and Defenders that went before it managed with a lot less power and torque and owners managed just fine. Basis my experience with the D240, if I were to be buying again now I would be happy with a run out D240 or waiting for the D250, the extra torque of the D250 over the D240 would be nice to have but I can live with what the 240 has. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Knowing Mockba very well, you want the 3 liter there. That’s just because a 5 liter is not available.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
