Hi Timcat,
Since a few years I'm roaming the world using a Solis device from Skyroam. This product uses a virtual SIM, so no need in every country to go search for a local SIM card. They have different payment options. I've always used the Global Daypass service, where you pay around 8US$ per 24 hours with nearly unlimited data over that period. https://www.skyroam.com/uk/wifi-pricing They have a pretty good coverage in Asia (I've tried about half ) and a reasonable (I think) list of countries in Africa. https://support.skyroam.com/hc/en-us/artic...-coverage- The Solis X device has a big internal battery, so it will really take you through the day. https://www.skyroam.com/uk/solis-x-wifi-smartspot I'm still using the original Solis which is a little bit bigger than the current devices; but it has never let me down.
