Wi-fi hotspot in remote country’s.
As per title we are looking at wi-fi hotspot hardware for the 110 & it seems to be a minefield! We will be travelling in some remote places Africa / Far East etc. Any advice more than welcome thanks in advance.

Belgium 2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 HCPU Santorini Black
Hi Timcat,

Since a few years I'm roaming the world using a Solis device from Skyroam.

This product uses a virtual SIM, so no need in every country to go search for a local SIM card.
They have different payment options. I've always used the Global Daypass service, where you pay around 8US$ per 24 hours with nearly unlimited data over that period.

They have a pretty good coverage in Asia (I've tried about half Razz ) and a reasonable (I think) list of countries in Africa.

The Solis X device has a big internal battery, so it will really take you through the day.

I'm still using the original Solis which is a little bit bigger than the current devices; but it has never let me down. Peter,
