Allmakes/Terrafirma claim on their website and in their marketing materials that their intercoolers are manufactured by Serck Motorsport.
I received one today and this is most certainly NOT the case. What a piece of junk! Best avoided, I can't believe the bare faced "misrepresentation". Ther is no way that this Made in UAE intercooler is a Serck Product. Wow, what a piece of junk. Thx for sharing. Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel.

I fired a few emails out, and have an assurance by the highest authority that this is indeed NOT a Serck intercooler. Though to be fair I never suspected it to be. I'll keep you posted.

Made from Arabium, sister element to Chineseium, both have the ability to imitate other elements from the periodic table, however show there true nature under pressure or stress. Arabium differs from Chineseium by requiring more silicone dioxide (sand) in the atmosphere during formation of the element. Zaid-M

Well there you go...Bripart now own Allmakes/Terrafirma! They say:
"In November 2019 Border Holdings Acquired Allmakes 4x4. A huge stock rationalization program has been taking place over the last 6 months and control of product supply taken in house at Britpart. Unfortunately a few lines that on paper were deemed to be like for like were not in fact, and due to the lack of Inventory and QC staff at Allmakes 4x4 during corona-virus lock down these have found their way onto the shelf and out to the customers. We introduced Serck Inter coolers into the Terrafirma range many years ago and have stuck with them particularly for their quality and performance standards despite pressure from cheaper alternatives. This incorrect product has now been withdrawn from stock and will be returned. All future stock will be Serck, we are just waiting on a lead time for this product." So yes, it was a Britpart product!! |
