Great video - thx for doing that! Can't believe the B pillar rattle/buzz is there on this Defender after numerous 'fixes' on my MY16D4 - which have never been resolved after some years...

I'm tempted .... but with a MY16 D4 HSE with numerous extras and warranties covering everything (I hope!) including extended service (belts) and WD direct for engine....

May any current owners review or provide comments on the comfort of the 2nd row for long trips (multiple hours, or long enough to want to take a snooze)? To date all reviews are limited to quickly sitting in the 2nd row and showing that there is ample leg and head room. Has anyone gone on a long road trip with passengers (or been a passenger) in the 2nd row? Thoughts?

I'm considering the 5+2 option because it seems that is the only way to add a recline option to the second row, rather than have that fixed to one position.

Since I've never sat back there I've polled both my sons, who are both 6ft 3" (and still teenagers!!). The basic commentary is that their backside and upper legs, never felt pain, they have't felt uncomfortable, or got out having sore backs despite being sat there for some sometimes 4 to 5 hours at a time. ----
