Give Steve Parkers a call, they do the complete kit. Half shafts, gaskets and bolts.

I suspect that the reason you're seeing them for 2015 onwards is because they fitted them as standard to the last of the vehicles. The parts are identical for earlier models, though. Darren

This is thebsimplist and cheapest way to do it. Something most on here seem worried about for some reason. People did this for years using disco shafts on this onwards. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

The 'some reason' is that the Discovery shafts aren't, strictly speaking, substantial enough for use on a 110. They're ok for a 90 - they shared the same parts back in the day - but the genuine 110 shafts are significantly thicker. As we all know that LR don't spend money upgrading parts unless they absolutely have to, there must be a good reason for it. I've had the Disco rear ones in my 2014 110 van for over a year with no problems. I do only use it on tarmac though.
They're about 4mm smaller in diameter than the originals, although the ground surfaces for the seals and the splines are identical. |
