United Kingdom 2003 Defender 90 Td5 SW Cairns Blue
mounting IPAD to TD5 dash
As i look for options on how to mount an IPAD to the dash of my TD5, i was wondering what others have done to allow an ipad to be on the dash. ideally for navigation and passenger entertainment:)

thanks

I bought recently a ROKK mount, you can get various mounting brackets (either stick on, glass suction, ball etc) and various "clamps" to suite phones, pads, GPS's etc.

It is rock solid. really solid. apparently rated to 3g (and being designed for marine use, not shabby quality)

Highly reccomended.

Ken, have you 3D printed an adapter to go between the ram mount and the ash tray? Looks a really neat solution

I didn’t do the 3D printing but found a eBay store some time back offering the attachments, you take out the standard ashtray and without any modification add a std set of RAM mounts. It is a great solution and is rock solid.

I use it for green Laning mainly and have no complaints. Defender 90 TD5 County -
