dropping the front headling section...tips
looking to mount two cargo nets above the two front seats and also investigate the bonding of my roof panel to the spars (before visit to dealer).

not withstanding removing: 1. rear view mirror and bracket plate, 2. both sunvisors, 3. the 4 fir-tree clips above both doors, 4. the 6 fir-tree clips stapled across the rear...

Q; what else is involved, is is stuck/bonded in any areas?

Good question to those folks that have fitted/fabbed roof consols and hence been here before... Thumbs Up

Cheers alan

Not bonded anywhere and it does come off easily provided you take care with the clips. No need to order any in advance, if you do manage to break any it will only be one or two. They are a 'christmas tree' design and may well be available in your local motor factors or Halfords (though they might be black). Ebay will see you okay.

I removed mine to insulate above it.

cheers guys...

right so far, i've removed all the clips/studs, rear view mirror and flange!, the sunvisors and the trims on the inside gutter section.

on my 110 the front section slips into the middle section, so i'm expecting it come from the windscreen edge first, but it's holding up just fine with no fixings in place... Shocked

is it also fixed at the front interior light or is that just attached to the ceiling card?

do i just get an edge and tug...
