For reasons I will explain in more detail at a later date I find myself in need of a new roof for my 300 TDi 110 station wagon.
Can I use later roof panels from a TD5 or TDCi ? The external ribbing seems to change but is there any difference with how it fastens to the windscreen and b pillar and rear body sides? 1995 Defender 110 CSW 1971 SIIA Lightweight |

I have bought a TDCi roof and it will start to get fitted this week. It seems to be very similar in fixings to the original but can't be sure until the old one is removed and see what fixings were used and what movement the damage has caused.
Lesson is if you are going to roll a Defender do it when it is moving very slowly. 1995 Defender 110 CSW 1971 SIIA Lightweight |

So later roof fitted by Trojan 4x4 in Linstock Carlisle without too much trouble so I can move on to sorting out the other issues.
