Possibly due to the forthcoming EV version of the L460 needing a few more mm’s to give the battery pack some more protection without making the car look ungainly.
When I was placing my deposit on a replacement L663 last Friday a friend of my sister’s was in the same dealership taking delivery of her new style Range Rover in Silicone Silver, looks lovely in the colour.
My Mini EV rides 15mm higher than fossil fuelled Minis for this reason but because Mini designed the eyebrows over the wheel arches to be deeper you don’t notice it as the wheel arches look the same size as the rest of the Mini range. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

L405 is listed at 290mm, so 5mm extra makes sense --
