Always liked the look of these, Vikings and the earlier BVs, but some of these look in a very sorry condition. I wonder how easy it will be to put them back into a decent running condition?
Nominally cost £1.5 million each just 10 years ago. https://www.brightwellslive.com/timedauctions/index/5067 |

First two were minters and did £50k but a third one went the other week for £24k ish. Ridiculously cheap for what it is. Sadly it does have limited value unless your holiday home is in Khandahar (cheap property out there ). New project and it's green: www.projectoverland.info

I was at the sales yard today picking up some stuff for a friend and there's a couple parked up in a corner but minus the tracks and part of the running gear. No end of big Foden lorries as well as near enough any other lorry used by the seservices vices. What is impressive is the long line of Penman trailers parked against the perimeter fence.

Back to the Warthogs ~ wondering why so many rear modules being auctioned without the front bits? |
