Bespoke storage solution
My local dealer JLC ltd here in herne hill just posted the following custom storage solution they made up for a customer.

Not to my personal taste, but thought I’d share none the less!

Caption on their Instagram read as follows:

Check this out! JLC were asked if they could build a bespoke storage solution/shotgun box for the New 2020 Defender as there’s nothing on the market that’s available. We handed this over to our in house @jlc_bespoke department. Made from Black Walnut and Wenge timber, aeroplane grade trim work, Marine style door latches and the best leather known to man we made this!!

I guess if the wood matches the wood pattern in the front trim it would be ok, but my OCD would hurt having one grain of wood in the back and another grain of fake wood in the front....

Think I'd prefer it to just match the generic silver black colour scheme. Would be quite nice then.

Bit annoying when you have friends round and you have to send someone out the the car to get the cutlery out of the draw....

It kind of looks like they started with an idea before some one noticed that there is a hatch in the floor that needs to be accessed......
