Thanks guys!
I’ve been told £21000 is sensible ??? Had some A couple dealers offer 17k and 19.5k so I’m all good thinking £21k is achievable! |

ln July l advertised our almost identical grey 2005 90 XS SW and started it at £20,000, l had spent £7,000 getting everything done and it was pristine.
Not a nibble. People on here were telling me it was very nice, but a bit dear (my ad and the comments are probably still here somewhere it was in July) l had to sell it due to money issues with my business due to COVID. l reduced it to £18,995 I had someone offer £18,500 which l accepted but they turned out to be a time waster. So it went to a dealer for £17,000. They did a seats out valet, tarted it up a bit, and put it out at £20,500 lt sold within 24 hours. l guess a dealer warranty made it more attractive. Best of luck with yours. Maybe you will have more luck than l did. Yours does have some attractive and decent extras fitted and the mileage is slightly lower, ours had done 104,000 |

You might drop lucky..you advertise at £21k you may get an offer of £20k?? Based on what we know on here I would take the dealers offer of 19.5k pretty sharpish. No messing for you. Private market is very slow....folks want finance, warranty and p/ex Clemmo Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow.... Defender 90 HT............Pangea Green BMW X3 Msport............Carbon Black Mini Electric................Grey. (wow!) MGB Roadster……..........Vermillion 17k miles Honda Benly CD200....Maroon --------McLouis Fusio........7.4m of fun |

Looks stunning. I too would take the 19.5k dealer offer - it’s a great offer IMO. There are some really nice td5 s and 2.4 pumas of a similar mileage around the 20k price point. I would really like one but beyond my price point atm and I cannot decide on whether to have the cheaper car tax of the td5 or the forward facing rear seats of a puma....I do have to lug the kids around occasionally!

^^^Yup ...I was comparing Tax on a late td5 to an early (2007) 2.4 puma - (& both at similar price points to purchase)

A late td5 and early Puma CSW are both £550 or so a year.
With the earlier vs very late TD5 CSW you have the trade off between the far better “Puma” front doors, ignition / locks, plastic inner wings and seat bulkhead delete as standard vs the more expensive tax, unless you can find one in the short time they produced it with the above improvements before the tax went up. Ah ok thank you. I didn’t realise that about the td5 w.r.t. tax. I thought they were all around 300pa.
Sorry for thread hijack. |
