Thinking about it, my pipe arrangements were slightly different.
The filler pipe was straight from the tank neck to the filler cap. The breather was from the top of the tank to the filler neck assembly. The vent was from a different connector on the top of the tank (centre) that then went to the N/S rear of the chassis and sat on the top of the cross member. I have fitted a Nugget Stuff breather manifold which extends all the breathers into the bonnet, so it's probably a good idea to extend this and get it ip higher? Rgds. Chris |

Cheers Pacha, going to do the same and extend it up into the engine bay. Did you leave the valve at the tank end of the engine bay end?

I extended all of mine with the stuff that came in the Nugget Stuff breather manifold kit - this just has gauze filters to terminate the tubes. Rgds.

Thanks for all the help Pacha. Tank now back in and fired up! Only potential issue is that the tank itself isn’t held “tight” against the floor of the landy, I can rock it about half an inch or so. It as far back in the cradle as it can go. Was yours tight, or does it not need to be? Was thinking of chocking it?

I ended up 'shuffling' mine a bit and it slid back approx. another inch and seemed to then be pretty well secured - nipped the last bit of the new YRM plate after this.
If this doesn't work, personally I would get some decent thick rubber to take the play out just to stop any movement/rubbing. Rgds. Chris |

i expect the tank is not quite sat properly if it still moves around. it cant go far anyway and i expect will drop into place, esp with 60kg in it. that breather is same as one of mine was on a 90, i just added a male/male push fit and longer piece of pipe to underside of rear n/s wheel. valve is one way valve. close to the tank. you could have fuel all the way up the pipe to the valve. Pretty sure it’s a two way valve, at least that’s what the manual says and I could suck and blow down the pipe. I’ve located it temporarily inside the wheel arch until I can pick up some hose tomorrow and route it either into the engine bay or behind the plastic cover that shields the rear lights. Can’t quite decide!
