Please can anyone help - Tried to lower the drivers door window the other day and nothing happened - a second attempt worked OK. Then a few days later it stopped working altogether! I`ve checked out the wiring at the door pillar and get 12 volts on both wires, each wire dropping to 0 volts when the switch is operated, up or down. Is the motor known to be dodgy or is it likely to be a wiring fault? Has anyone a wiring diagram? It is a 2002 TD5 CSW with winter pack (HFW and seats)
I have searched and found nothing - am I the first person with a window problem? Oh, and is there a best way to take off the door panel? Thanks Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

Sorted it!
One of the wires in the rubber conduit between the door and the pillar had fractured. Spliced in a new piece and it all works again. - No new parts required, so - Result!! Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |
