Not done much of an update for a while.
Been busy with work and when not busy the weather was piddling it down Anyway, last weekend was good and I got a bit done today. so on with pictures.... Also got a new brake master cylinder. Just need to get the fittings to attach the reservior to it, then can fit all that...

It's been slow progress but the combination of work and weather has hindered it. Mustn't grumble about work though.... better than not having any!

I've not had chance to touch the Penman at all for ages.
However, last week I spied a tub for sale on eblag. Chap is doing an overland conversion to his, so the tub was removed. Quick trip up to Droitwitch and I have a near pristene tub, absolutely dent free. Bit faded but it's going to get a coat of NATO green anyway. Far easier to swap the tub for a straight one than p!ss about with a hammer and the oxy torch chasing dents... it would end up like the car in Father Ted.... Would be ideal if you were going to hack one about to make a different trailer out of it, as a nice straight tub can fetch a good bit of money! |
