I've finally given up trying to tempt my OH into a roof top tent. She just won't have it. Hence my dismay is an opportunity for someone else.
This is a Prime Tech 2.4m x 1.4m RTT. It has plenty of room for two. Has internal pockets and cable inlet point. Zippered mesh screens on all openings. There is a detachable fly sheet and an under awning included. The latter quickly slides onto the underside of the tent base via a beaded channel arrangement. Unless you wish to remove it, the flysheet is usually kept the attached to tent. Hence it conveniently deploys and folds away with the rest of the tent. The manufacturer's printed instructions included and I can also provide a digital file. I would say the original external travel cover has been a victim of sloppy storage by a previous owner as there are torn corners which have been repaired by duct tape. However, the tent itself is in excellent undamaged clean condition with an absence of stale aromas. Also included is a substantial green PVC cover in good condition which can go over the top or replace the original one. My OCD wasn't comfortable with the green. It just didn't sit right for me with my (at the time) Stornoway Grey Defender. So I had a bespoke black canvas cover made for me by Canvasman Marine (Sail and boat cover makers). This is a robust heavy duty cover that adds a high quality appearance and performance. The cover alone cost me over £300. It has never been used. It only came out of it's polythene wrapping for the photographs. And finally my little pièce de résistance - my homemade wooden trolley for home storage convenience. Prime Tech was originally an American company, it has since been operating in Germany. I am not aware of a UK franchise but the company can supply accessories/spares and other camping equipment via their German website (via google translate) https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?h...mp;pto=aue This sale is at an ideal price point for dipping your toe into the RTT scene - in fact you probably won't ever feel the need to "upgrade" to one of the more eye-wateringly priced headline brands. Price £550 all in. I don't have the means to palletise but I can help you fit this to your roof rack or roof bars or I'm sure Big Dave here would be happy to assist you by transporting to your particular destination. Any questions, please ask away. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge The two cords spanning the width of the interior are unclipped during use. You clip them back on again before putting the tent away so the material folds neatly Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge .
