Found this handy little free app for any iphone users out there that don't have a hardwired car kit or bluetooth enabled head unit. Dension Car phone Dock.
Basically, it just takes the phone and ipod music functions and makes everything much larger, so it's easier to deal with when the phone is in a cradle . You can upgrade the app for £1.99 to give you access to internet radio and a few other functions.... The app is designed to complement their Iphone car dock cradle but will works fine independently from this. I've taken a punt on their handsfree cradle/charger too as I've got a fairly decent sounding Panasonic head unit which I don't feel the need to change but it doesn't have bluetooth. I'm not too keen to have too many hardwired bits on the dash either. The cradle is claimed to work on both a 3.5mm jack plug and an FM transmitter, so could be handy for anyone without the jack plug input or just to minimise the number of wires. If anyone is interested in the cradle, I'll post more about it when I've got it and had a chance to test it.
