Does that include fitting. If so you have to take into account the hours of training a technician to place the letters crooked on the Bonnet and the hours spent training them to spell the word Defender correctly.

Not an extra, I’m having the car x-pel wrapped with clear gloss film and might need a spare set to stick over the film in case the detailers pattern doesn’t align with the existing letters and they have to remove the originals.
Here’s what you get for £103 Click image to enlarge Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

That is crazy... Imagine what they charge if you wanted them fitting...
Would it not have been cheaper to take the originals off... then attach new 3m double sided to the back. Like what Wrappers do when they wrap cars? Or.... probably where LR obtain them from... |

For that sort of money, I would expect it to be in Comic Sans
It really is daylight robbery, but I am sure it is not something unique to JLR - they are just very good at keeping up with all the rest of the Marques. Renault used to be expensive. Subaru were also eye watering. |

Stacey007, that set is for the wrong Defender........... The letters are too close together for L663 New Defender. I don't see what the problem is.
If people are willing to pay £70,000 for a Slovakian made vehicle, then £100 for Chinese plastic spare parts seems reasonable. |

Sorry Tim, just a quick search... Academic as you have bought a new set
Think I would have just bought 3m tape... Is it a paint protection film your having fitted? the Silver Defender I drove the other week had a 'self healing' film.... so slight scratches don't show? Gave the car more of a Mat finished I liked it. |

The price of a reasonable second hand car for one headlight seems more of a rip-off to me. £1495 + VAT, if I remember correctly.
I wonder how many new Defenders will be written off because they're not economical to repair after a minor collision? |
