BULKHEAD bar

Hello everyone.
2008 defender 90 here
My question is regarding the bulkhead bar that is already installed in my vehicle. Can it be removed. Or is it factory welded?
I am installing Dinamats and some waterproof interior foam like material and it would be much much easier if the bar wasn't there during installation.

2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 CSW Santorini Black

The bulkhead delete bar consists of 3 main parts. 2 vertical tubes from the cappings to the front panel of the wheel arch, and a horn shape tube that goes across the vehicle.

You can easily remove the horn shape tube. I believe the 2 pairs of bolts that go through the floor go in a plate with 2 nuts welded on. To remove is not a big deal, but to re install you need to sort of align the plate from the bottom, and they are hidden by the seatbelt brackets.

To remove the 2 vertical tubes, you need to remove the side panels to gain access to the bolts that go through the cappings. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

That’s just bolted. Take the four bolts in the pictures out then there are four on the floor too. Only the long cross bar will come out because the uprights are pop riveted to the cappings so the body sides would need removing to take those off Ray
