Pick up the 1992 110 tdi from the garage today. She was in getting new shock absorbers fitted. Can't complain as the ones that came off her went on in 1992 in Solihull. Very Happy 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

About 180,000 miles. It ceased to be the main family car in 2008 when a Puma took over that role, but it is still in use. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Started life in Solihull in 1992 as a 110 pick up. We bought it in 1996 with 20,000 miles on it and had it converted into a 9 seat station wagon. Has given great service over the years, great memories. The wife learned how to drive in it and passed her test first time in it. She has never driven a "normal" car, just the tdi, Puma and the 1982 88 that we also have. The Puma is her favourite. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

That's great Thumbs Up and also amazing resilience from those shocks..... would have been written off by certain 'fast fit' motor companies at three years old as being 'unsafe, Sir'

That's good going! My 306 is on to her 3rd set of dampers! Replaced the original ones after i bought the car, then replaced those, 4 years ago. As they were shot. The car has not hit 20 years old yet, and only on 108k So that's good going for a dampers on a car that is close to 30years old! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it!
