Td5 headlight height adjuster switch - illuminated ??
Being very lazy here....

Is the headlight height adjustment selector switch illuminated on a Td5 ? I suspect not but thought I'd ask before I started taking things apart to check.

If it is illuminated, then it's never worked on mine. Sad

Edit - Not only the switch but the little panel showing the height settings too Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

The numbers on mine appear to 'glow in the dark', rather than lighting up.

Looking through the wiring diagram for the Td5, there should be illumination on the headlight leveller switch (S109)

red/orange wire (dash illumination) on pin 5, and black (earth) on pin 3.

while we are on this subject, Should the Hazard Button on the dash be illuminated when the lights are on?

Bottom RH corner of the centre console Chief.... right next to the big red ejector seat switch Mr. Green

Showing my ignorance here but notice your landy profile says you have a 90 hard top. I think that maybe the headlight height adjusters are only required on Station Wagons..... could well be wrong on that though. Sure more knowledgable peeps will confirm that. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.
