Quick confirmation re: factory speaker connectors (pics)

Hi folks.

My 2010 CSW had radio preparation from the factory. A previous owner has fitted a simple CD player and two lower dash speakers.

I've just come to replace them with a factory set of speakers (2x lowr, 2x tweeters, 2x rear) that I bought from the forum.

Drivers side, no problem. The PO had cut off the factory spade connectors and twisted them onto the post of the lower speakers - so I'll just replace these with standard spade connectors. I found the tweeter wire tucked away and plugged the OEM tweeter in - no issues at all.

Came to the passenger side and, again I found the spare wire - but for the life of me I couldn't get it to reach up to the tweeter hole. Then actually looked at it and found that the spare connector had twin female connectors - rather than the factory tweeter plug. Then it dawned on me what had happened: the previous owner had connected the long tweeter wire to the lower speaker and left the real speaker wires tucked away.

Can anyone have a quick look and confirm that what I think has happened...has happened?

If so - I've got really lucky: I have one spare male tweeter plug complete with an inch of wire that was left connected to the tweeter when I bought it. So plan would be:

1) remove aftermarket speaker and connect the tweeter plug to this wire using an in-line connector
2) run this wire up to the tweeter
3) connect the factory twin female connectors to the OEM lower speaker using the pre-fitted connectors
4) refit the speakers.

Thank you - never worked on a stereo before (my old Series LRs don't have them).

Update: managed to answer this one - thanks to the electrical manual uploaded by dgardel - which shows that the theory was right. The wires currently connected to the speaker (brown-black and black-white) are really meant for the tweeter, so ordered a new OEM tweeter plug off Martin and will correct this back to standard before fitting both genuine speakers.
