I think alive do standard height comfort springs now?
You could always try the softest RRC front spings. 130lb/in I think vs 225 on the defender I believe 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

I’ve got the alive standard height springs, and if your local you are more than welcome to come and try. I went with the springs and bilstein B6 dampers as the old ones had done a bit. The difference is night and day. On road comfort is superb and off-roading ability also seems improved.

I run LR 110 fronts/Disco rears all round on my 90. Had them originally with the standard dampers which improved the ride considerably.
Have since change the dampers to bilsteins which has stiffened the ride up a bit and compromised some comfort but I can now throw it round roundabouts. Got the brand new Lr take off springs for £100 delivered for the set. They’re Progressive springs too |

I have the 1 inch Alive lowered comfort springs, but have the spring isolators top and bottom, which restores ride height, and provide zero noise transmission to the axles and chassis. Night and day

I too have the isolators
I’d say 10mm maximum, more like 5mm each with the car weight on them |

I used the standard isolators on the top / bottom on the rear, disco 2 isolators on the front tops and standard on the bottom...
Anr2938 should work top and bottom... |

Just got an Alive 110 comfort spring set off T'bay for £201, roughly half I was about to pay. I'll report back once I've fitted them
