[Wanted] Truck cab
Truck cab needed for 1989 127 don’t no if later ones will fit any advice welcom

If you have the original double hoop roll bar this will obviously need removing.
On mine the base of the roll bar is also the capping for the corner of the lower cab.
Once the roll bar is removed you wont have the capping to bolt the standard truck cab too.
It wouldn’t be difficult to overcome this with either a capping from another vehicle, but would have to be from a cab only vehicle, not pickup or hard top. Or make your own - pretty much copied from the bottom of your existing roll bar.
It looks like you have already removed the rubber that went between the cab and the back.
Other than that it should fit, you might need to drill for mounts across the back or make some new brackets to line up with the random array of holes you probably already have.
The truck cab will limit seat recline more than your soft top.
Hope that helps.

I think all the defender truck cab roofs and back panels are the same size. I fitted a Puma roof and rear panel truck cab to a 93 Defender.
